At the Diocese of Orlando Kick-off of the 2020-2021 academic year, Henry Fortier, Secretary of Education and Superintendent of Schools presented the St. Teresa of Calcutta award to this year’s elementary and high school winners: Resurrection Catholic School and Trinity Catholic High School.
Several groups from Trinity Catholic High School in partnership with the Paddock Ridge Assisted Living Community saw an opportunity to saw an opportunity for both generations to be blessed by consistent intentional interaction. The scope of the projects and visits have covered have covered a variety of spiritual, emotional, and community building opportunities that comprehensively developed the children and reached the residents as well.
This program enriched the life of the children involved as well as the residents at Paddock Ridge. It has been an honor to partner with these wonderful high school students and we would like to congratulate them on receiving the St. Teresa of Calcutta Award.
